To help residents save money and energy, and to improve their indoor air quality and safety, the City of Falls Church is offering free home energy assessments. Normally a $400-$600 value, these energy audits can help you prioritize which projects to tackle first.

To help Falls Church speed its transition to quieter, cleaner electric lawn equipment, the Falls Church Climate Action Network is again helping City residents recycle old gas leaf blowers, lawn mowers, and other yard tools. Residents can recycle gas lawn tools at the Recycling Extravaganza on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 217 Gordon Road in Falls Church, VA.
