Last Chance! Share Your Input on Falls Church Energy Plan, Budget Surplus

Monday, Nov. 13 is shaping up to be a big day for climate policy in the City of Falls Church.

At a 7:30 p.m. meeting, City Council is slated to discuss:

  • Adopting the revised Community Energy Action Plan (CEAP)

  • Using part of the City’s current budget surplus to fund five climate projects (one in the community and four in government/schools)

  • Possibly setting a more-ambitious renewable energy goal for 2050

Here are three ways you can get involved:

  1. Read FCCAN’s letter to City Council about the revised CEAP and plans for the budget surplus. Want to co-sign the letter? Great! Shoot us a note using FCCAN’s contact form by 6 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Nov. 7.

  2. You can also email your own public comments to City Council before the Monday, Nov. 13 meeting.

  3. Attend the Nov. 13 City Council meeting to submit public comment in person or virtually via Microsoft Teams.

Questions or comments? Email FCCAN.
