Last Chance! Share Your Input on Falls Church Energy Plan, Budget Surplus
Monday, Nov. 13 is shaping up to be a big day for climate policy in the City of Falls Church.
At a 7:30 p.m. meeting, City Council is slated to discuss:
- Adopting the revised Community Energy Action Plan (CEAP) 
- Using part of the City’s current budget surplus to fund five climate projects (one in the community and four in government/schools) 
- Possibly setting a more-ambitious renewable energy goal for 2050 
Here are three ways you can get involved:
- Read FCCAN’s letter to City Council about the revised CEAP and plans for the budget surplus. Want to co-sign the letter? Great! Shoot us a note using FCCAN’s contact form by 6 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Nov. 7. 
- You can also email your own public comments to City Council before the Monday, Nov. 13 meeting. 
- Attend the Nov. 13 City Council meeting to submit public comment in person or virtually via Microsoft Teams.
